Steffi Wittwer Memorial Night at Walcheturm Zürich
On Saturday 8 March 2025, the Walcheturm in Zurich will host the big Memorial Night for guitarist Stephan Wittwer, who passed away unexpectedly.
Steffi was an enormously important inspiration and sparring partner for me and for many other musicians and artists.
Anton Bruhin, Rüdiger Carl, Christy Doran, Steamboat Switzerland, Michael Wertmüller and many more will play, read and perform.

Ruhrtriennale 23 - Solist in Michael Werthmüllers New Piece
For the Ruhrtriennale, Michael Werthmüller is writing a new work for the NDR Big Band, Basel Sinfonietta and the two soloists Kalle Kalima and Lucas Niggli. Premiere at the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum on September 20th, 2023! Olalaaaa.
Drum-Marathon at Ruhrtriennale 23
At the Ruhrtriennale 23, I am so happy to realise two heartfelt productions at the drum marathon. Once in duo with Aly Keita, we celebrate Grooves and Brotherhood of Vibes. And for the nightly finale, the meditative and wonderful piece CoronAtion IV by Olga Neuwirth in a 90-minute version for me.

Trio Homburger Guy Niggli with a new CD
We finally recorded a new album for "Maya-Recordings" Label with works by Barry Guy and György Kurtág.
The Homburger / Guy Duo will be joined by the longtime collaborator Lucas Niggli.
Recording sessions took place in May 2022, on the Greek island Hydra in the amazing rooms of "the old carpet factory studio.

At the beginning of this January I recorded with my friend Mattias Loibner ( the hurdy gurdy master ) in the wonderful auditorium of the Radio Studio Lugano. We are very much looking forward to the release which is planned for early autumn on INTAKT Records.
